About

Jeffrey Ben Sokol, known as "The Pizza Predator," was arrested on October 3, 2015, during a Hansen vs Predator sting operation in Fairfield, Connecticut.

The 44-year-old insurance auditor from Brookline, Massachusetts, drove two and a half hours carrying pizza, vodka, and orange juice to meet what he believed was a 13-year-old girl named "Bailey" while her mother was away. Sokol had groomed the decoy online with sexually explicit conversations, including discussions about a fraudulent "marriage contract" he believed would make sexual contact legal.

When confronted by Chris Hansen, Sokol displayed an arrogant, dismissive attitude, claiming he'd done nothing wrong and was just "hanging out."

He was charged with three felonies: attempted first-degree sexual assault, attempted risk of injury to a minor, and enticing a minor in an obscene performance. In March 2017, he was sentenced to 7 years suspended after 30 months served, plus 10 years probation and sex offender registration. He served his prison term and was released in June 2019.
